About Doug
Doug is a Cornishman and paints his quirky county with with great warmth and affection for the
beautiful places - and their visitors!!
Doug comes to our gallery every Wednesday and you can meet him. Ask him nicely and he will include you,
your loved ones and any special memories in a painting especially for you!
Doug is a larger than life man with a lovely vision of our lives - but let not his smiles divert you from seeing
that he is an immensely talented painter - who has many years of experience of many styles.
Doug has owned his own gallery in Newquay for many years but he now enjoys painting without
the worries of the business side and we are lucky he has chosen Imagianation as his St Ives 'home'.
